Myself, Dr. Prabhakar Singh has completed his Graduation, Master and Doctoral Degree in Biochemistry from Department of Biochemistry, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. I am working as Assistant Professor (Guest) in the Department of Biochemistry, V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. I have 5 years of teaching and research exposure and experience in Biochemistry and Nutritional Science for UG & PG student at University of Allahabad (Department of Biochemistry and Center of Food Technology) during pursuing the D.Phil. dissertation, and more than 4 years experience in Biochemistry for PG Students at V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.

MY LATEST RESEARCH

Plasma membrane redox system (PMRS) is an electron transport chain system ubiquitously present throughout all cell types. It transfers electron from intracellular substrates to extracellular acceptors for regulation of redox status. Curcumin, isolatedfrom Curcuma longa, has modulatory effects on cellular physiology due to its membrane interaction ability and antioxidant potential.
